Although we’ve provided you with good solutions, it’s always important to remember that no matter how cautious you are, disaster can strike! In these cases, it is crucial that you have a backup of your data that you can restore at a later time.

A backup is a copy of your data stored on a separate system or medium (such as a file, hard drive, cloud storage, etc.) that is meant to protect your information in the event of a data loss, which could happen due to malware, data breaches, theft, or even natural disasters.

Backups should be periodic, physically placed at a different location, and easily accessible when needed. Encrypted backups are even better, although this requires storing the password or the key in a safe location.
